You can call it a 'a short', call it a 'web story', call it a 'reel' or a live photo (.mov file), they’re all just fancy names for the same thing(a video). We’ve all been consuming videos all these years, but we have had to publish in an ever shorter form, but in essence, it is still, simply a blooming video. That’s all a web story is anyway. Ken Burns used still photographs with a zooming effect to make video documentaries decades ago, and changed the documentary making scene with it, and won awards with his methods, which were unconventional at the time. This is nothing new, and it’s not a story,. It’s a video. All videos tell a story. And these stories tell themselves in the same way as a video. I can post a video to Facebook as a post, or as a story, or as a reel… all three of them are just the same thing; a video. With the only difference being that the fancy named ones are usually not longer than 15 seconds, which proves that the attention span of humanity has decreased to something similar to that of a goldfish because even the 15 second video has to be split up into 3 to 5 “pages” within a “Web story”. So the bite-size chunks that humans can absorb, has decreased to such a tiny size that we can’t even keep our attention focused on the video for 15 seconds anymore it has to be split up into five sections, because we’ve got the attention span of a goldfish

this just shows that the fact nobody watches videos longer than 15 seconds to the end, means everybody has an attention span only 12 seconds longer than a goldfish has. This is the evolution of humans since the era of mobile devices. We used to have blog posts and videos. but videos now people like to call them by other names even though they’re just videos, actually, such as shorta, reels, web stories.. come and go trends… not worth mastering an art that lives and dies faster than a candle burns out. Nobody wears beards and beard oil merely ten years after that du garee james dean haircut and beard fashion came and went, since then we have had 'it has to be widescreen 4k' it has to be portrait mode to get more views… then the Overton window has let us forget that is is not giod or ethical to make such deceptive measures as visually appealing and deceptive eyecatching titles and content, and put any AI generated BS text, with short 'for idiots' perception changing messages, that are enough for the mindless millenials who never knew a world without internet or smart devices, to swallow it without even questioning.. what humanity, and what internet marketing has become, because the overton window has let us forget that this kind of approach is not only kitschy, and a passing fad that is becoming copycatted and mainstream drivel, but is also contributing to the furtherance of incresing idiocracy, and contributing to the entropy of human free thinking, as to Forbes' statement about having equity and ethics and blah blah as their public statement of their approach, is BS. Webstories are merely videos with short scenes, regardless of whether they mix animation with real video and still ke burns images.. or not… its just a slideshow or a video, dressed up as a 'web story' that Forbes can sell its usual paid placements to companies as if it was something new

I was using Nightsight a while back trying to catch a plane as it went overhead. What I ended up with is a perfect shot of the SPACE STATION. It's amazing that a phone camera could capture something 350 feet long , 250 miles away traveling 17,000 mph . I wish there was a place I could send it to them.

Best to delete the humour and concentrate on the information and speak more slowly with pauses for the listener to digest what you say. Good content which needs a good polished presenter

There is an automatic timelapse feature in the Nightsight mode (Pro phones only). You turn it on by touching Settings-Adanced. If you chase the northern lights it's a game changer. Also cool for general star shots- it compresses the 4 minutes into about a 1 second, high quality video, automatically, no processing.
